When the German-Romanian baritone Konstantin Krimmel and pianist Simon Crawford-Phillips appeared together on stage at Wigmore Hall last year they earned five-star reviews for their exquisitely crafted and moving interpretation. The subject matter was very different, Music from Terezín on that occasion, but this concert’s combination of voice and piano from two outstanding musicians, performing Franz Schubert’s famous setting of 24 poems by Wilhelm Müller, will undoubtedly be a hot ticket for all Lieder fans.
