Winner of the 2nd Prize at the 2024 Leeds International Piano Competition – as well as the chamber music prize and award for a work by a woman composer – Junyan Chen has made an eye-catching start to her career. Having graduated from her studies under Prof Joanna MacGregor at the Royal Academy of Music, and already toured across Europe, the charismatic London-based pianist’s career is off to a great start.
