Two remarkable musicians come together here to trace the progression of the Violin Sonata from Mozart to Prokofiev, interspersed with a dreamy and atmospheric lullaby by Ravel. Anthony Marwood, a founding member of the Florestan Trio, is prolific and adventurous in his music-making. His long-established collaboration with the Serbian pianist Aleksander Madžar has been described as a “musical connection of the soul”.
